How tall do you need to be to race at Naskart?

Junior racers must be at least 48 inches (4 feet) tall to race on the track. Teen and adult racers must be at least 58 inches (4 feet 10 inches) tall to drive our larger, faster go-karts.

IMPORTANT: Meeting the height requirement does not guarantee that you’ll be allowed to race. All drivers will be measured on-site and must demonstrate the ability to safely operate all aspects of the kart. Final approval is at the discretion of management.

Can adults and kids race together on the track?

Adults and kids cannot race on the track at the same time, unless the child meets the requirements for our Adult Karts. For safety reasons, Junior Karts and Adult Karts are kept separate and never share the track during a race.

Do I need a driver’s license to drive at Naskart?

No, a driver’s license is not required to drive at K1 Speed. Our go-karts are designed for all skill levels, so whether you have a license or not, you can enjoy racing on our tracks safely and confidently.

How long is a race at Naskart?

The total race time is 10 minutes, which includes 8 minutes of actual racing, 1 minute to get into the kart, and 1 minute to get out of the kart.

Is go-karting like bumper cars?

No, Naskart go-karts are faster, more responsive, and more expensive than bumper cars. Contact is discouraged, and intentional bumping may result in ejection from the race.

Is prior racing experience required at Naskart?

No previous experience is necessary to race at Naskart. Every driver will be given a thorough introduction covering safety guidelines, track rules, flag meanings, and how to operate the kart before their initial race.

Is Naskart safe?

Yes, safety is a top priority at Naskart. Karts are regularly maintained, and drivers receive a safety briefing before racing, they also must wear DOT-approved helmets with visors or goggles. Track staff can remotely slow or remove unsafe drivers to protect others.
